Buildings are one of the major energy consumers globally. The climate change and global warming are symptoms of increasing Green House Gases emis- sions because of growing energy consumption. Majority of electricity pro- duced from fossil fuels, coal, which are the source of GHG emission. Here renewable energy and efficient measure of energy consumption reduction can give the opportunity to do save our earth by reducing GHG emission level. The integrated solution of energy demand and environmental impact for build- ing is the net zero energy buildings. This paper reviews the NZEBs initiative around the world in a different perspective such as passive design of building, active approach incudes energy efficient measures and electricity production by renewable energy particularly for buildings. Further this paper highlights, optimizing and modelling using different tools and software used for imple- menting NZEBs. This paper suggests the possible ways of implementation of NZEBs and its benefits in residential, commercial and educational buildings for various climate zones and recent case studies results.

Energy is important in part of life and life cannot imaging without electricity. Due to environmental pollution, traditional thermal energy such as coal, oil power stations are planned to be reduced. Considering the demand, lot of research is started on renewable energy for commercial as well home applications. When it comes to renewable energy, solar energy is easier to harvest when compared to renewable energy. In this study, a different source of energy is studied and depth study related to solar energy. It is discussed how the energy is created from the source, SUN. Method of harvesting solar energy and different kind of solar panels are discussed. There is also a comparison for each panel and special features of each kind of panel are discussed.

Described in this paper is a Self-Stabilizing Hybrid Bicycle. Gyroscope technology is implemented to develop the balancing forces to achieve stability on all terrains. The main principle revolves around generating the counteracting torque to help stabilize the tilting action of the vehicle. Along with this, we have introduced a hybrid system to prime the cycle when the rider is tired. The hybrid system includes a battery which can be charged by three different ways: Solar power, mechanical power from a dynamo from the pedal and an Ac supply charge. To charge the electric motor driving the bicycle, the energy from all these three paths is used. The hybrid-powered bicycle is built so that the rider can drive the bicycle in two ways, i.e. he can choose to use the electric motor entirely or he can ride it by himself manually which in turn charges the battery.

This paper presents the design, analysis and comparison of different types of dc-dc converters. Now days due to lack of conventional energy sources like coal, petrol, diesel etc., demand of electricity is rising day to day. To fulfill this demand of electrical energy alternative methods are very much important now. The researchers stand motivating in solar energy generation, dc-dc converters etc. In this paper Performance analysis of different dc/dc converters and comparative study of them is focused. All converters will work in Continuous conduction mode. The performance analysis of different converters (Buck, Boost, Buck Boost, CUK, SEPIC, Positive Output Super-Lift Luo Converter) and comparison of those converter’s simulation results discussed using MULTISIM 14.0.
