Abstract

This paper demonstrates the issue of work-life balance in accordance with genders, as both men and women are generally facing work-life imbalance. While organizations are playing a vital role in maintaining a supportive work climate to improve work-life balance, there are still challenges. In the present era, Indian organizations are implementing strategies such as flexible working hours, part-time work, and facilities for child care, similar to what other countries provide. This trend is promising. However, respondents in this survey have demonstrated their inability to reconcile their career and personal life effectively. In light of this finding, the paper indicates the need for more efficient strategies to improve work-life balance and manage the lives of employees better. The paper will also explain how the workplace can be made more convenient for workers and more beneficial to their professional work.
